Gilbert van der Heiden covers the sourcing life cycle - from strategy, to selection and contracting,to transition and transformation, to management in general. In detail, he addresses application development, integration and maintenance, inclusive of SAP and Oracle, testing, architecture, crowdsourcing, (multi)sourcing organization and vendor management. He handles about 800 client interactions yearly on the above.Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Van der Heiden was an outsourcing solution manager at Atos Origin. He set out and was responsible for the technical, service, transition and demand-supply solution for international (out) sourcing engagements. He also held line management and consulting positions, both internal and external.
