Martijn Blanken is the Group Managing Director & Chief Customer Officer of Global Enterprise & Services, a A$6.5 billion revenue division of Telstra, operating as a global, industry-based telecommunications services and solutions business. Martijn is responsible for Telstra's business relationship with international carriers and business customers globally, including the 2,000 largest enterprise and government customers in Australia.

Martijn is a non-executive director of several of Telstra’s international ventures, including the largest partially foreign owned service provider in China, as well as the Australian Information Industry Association. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of Telstra Corporation.

Prior to his current role, Martijn was Managing Director Telstra Global based in Hong Kong. In this role he was responsible for all aspects of Telstra’s operations aimed at the business and wholesale market outside Australia, from product development to engineering, IT, sales and customer service.

Prior to joining Telstra, Martijn was the Vice President, AsiaPacific and Japan for Openwave Systems. He has also held several senior positions at KPN Royal Dutch Telecom, including Managing Director of the Managed Services and Outsourcing Division, and held non-executive directorships for several KPN JV’s.

Martijn holds a MBA from the University of Groningen (Netherlands).
