Peter Jacobs graduated (2001) and PhD (2005, cum laude) at the Delft University of Technology at the Systems Engineering Department. This is the intersection between econometrics and software engineering. In 2005 he starts working as strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company. In this role he is involved in large transformations in banking and IT. In 2010 he started at ING where he served as director responsible for application management. Since April 2013 he is Chief Information Officer at ING Netherlands, responsible for all IT.
