SVP and Global Head for Cloud, Infrastructure & Security

Samson David is the Senior Vice President and the Global Head for Cloud, Infrastructure and Security at Infosys. Samson works closely with global 2000 clients to help define and build their cloud and infrastructure strategies and run end-to-end IT operations. He is also on the board of the ODCA (Open Data Center Alliance). In his previous role, Samson was Member of the Board and COO of EdgeVerve Ltd - a fully owned Infosys Subsidiary focused on the Products and Platforms business. In this role, Samson was responsible for the product management, engineering and go-to-market of all products and platforms at EdgeVerve.

 

Prior to this, he was the SVP and Global Head – Business Platforms at Infosys Limited where he was responsible for leveraging the power of the cloud and industry expertise of Infosys to create and monetize IP, providing clients with measurable outcome-based solutions to their business problems.During his time at Infosys, he has held several key positions including Head-Delivery and Operations for the Asia Pacific Region and Head-Communications, Media and Entertainment business unit for Infosys in the U.S. Samson holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Pune.
